High impedance (100V) means an impedance of hundred to thousand ohms. High impedance speakers are mostly used for commercial application such as public address. 100V speaker is used in this field because it has the advantage of being able to receive audio signal sent from the amplifier over long distance, at an adequate level, and be connected to the amplifier together with a number of other speakers.
